Why Should I Make the Switch?

A Habit with Endless Benefits

Embracing the shift to reusable containers, utensils, and bags is a commendable leap towards a greener, more sustainable future. Unlike their disposable counterparts (Styrofoam or plastic), which often end up clogging landfills or floating in oceans, reusable alternatives offer a powerful solution to combat the environmental havoc caused by single-use materials. The versatility and durability of reusable containers ensure a prolonged lifespan, reducing the overall demand for resources and curbing the creation of excessive waste.

Making conscious choices, such as opting for reusable utensils, contributes to a significant reduction in the alarming plastic pollution plaguing our planet. Disposable plastic cutlery often finds its way into ecosystems, harming wildlife and ecosystems. Reusable utensils not only address this issue but also encourage responsible consumption habits, aligning with a more sustainable and ecologically sensitive lifestyle. Investing a little more in a stainless-steel container is a wise decision. Its enduring quality ensures long-term utility, and perhaps more importantly, it safeguards your food from the potential leaching of chemicals often associated with plastic containers.

The decision to replace disposable bags with their reusable counterparts plays a vital role in mitigating the environmental impact of our daily activities. The production of plastic bags requires substantial energy and contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Choosing reusable bags, when takeout for your reusable containers is an option, not only reduces the demand for these harmful materials but also minimizes the carbon footprint associated with their production and disposal.

This conscious shift in consumer behavior not only safeguards our ecosystems from the detrimental effects of single use Styrofoam and plastic but also paves the way for a sustainable, cleaner, and healthier planet.

Practice Makes Perfect (No, Seriously. You Got This!)

Stay Strong & Bring a Carry Along

Few things irk me more than the dilemma of choosing between discarding my food or embracing a never-ending Styrofoam takeout experience. How did this become the norm? It's disheartening and should be universally outlawed at this point now that we know the toll it takes on our environment. The guilt I feel transporting a Styrofoam-packed meal to my fridge is overwhelming. Each takeaway box seems like an unwitting contribution to the growing burden on Mother Earth, one of many plastic choices throughout the day.

Let's be real—I get it. Remembering a reusable bag at the grocery store let alone a full kit at a restaurant can be a hassle. Yet, the allure of a guilt-free dinner, (even after indulging in cheesecake), outweighs the momentary discomfort of tossing the box later. It took me a while to make it a habit, but with practice, it became second nature, like muscle memory. And ladies, if you're anything like me with a spacious bag, the habit quickly embedded itself, because it was always within arm's reach!

Regardless, initiating change can begin with small, gradual habit adoptions—even if it involves tying a string around your pinky as a reminder. Building good habits hinges on repetition, and that first moment you recall bringing it into your favorite restaurant is an unparalleled sensation, knowing you just did your part for the earth!

Let's Build Your Kit!

Stainless-Steel Containers

Circular Stackable Stainless-Steel:
We love the stackable feature, eliminating the need for multiple containers. Plus, they're enduring, ensuring no harmful chemical leaching into your food!

Rectangle Stainless-Steel with Bamboo Lid: This container fits nicely in a bag, purse or knapsack, and is a handy size for lunches or takeout! The strap and silicone seal help to keep what's good, in.

Stainless-Steel Condiment Cups: Scrape that sauce off the plate, no judgement here. (We see you!) These are super cute and what's even better is they fit right inside the dividers of the stackable option above!

(Prefer glass instead? Don't worry, I'll take you there!)

Reusable Cutlery

Reusable Cutlery Set: Elevate your lunch break or takeout experience with this chic and practical cutlery set, your perfect companion for on-the-go sustainability.

Stainless-Steel Foldable Spork: Need a lighter option than bringing a full set? Grab a spork to get the job done!

Reusable Totes

Organic Cotton Tote: Grocery shopping or bringing your takeout along, this bag is a great catch-all for any food run. Plus, it comes with 6 useful compartments you have to check out!

Roll-Up Organic Cotton Tote: We love the roll-up option! Try fitting it in a reusable container for the ultimate one-and-done kit grab.
